Leadership Support
Registered Manager Support
Personalised coaching, mentoring and expert guidance for CQC Registered Managers at all career stages, from first registration to managing complex operational and regulatory challenges.
Why Registered Managers Need Independent Support
Leading Well Under Pressure
The Registered Manager role is one of the most demanding in health and social care. Responsible to CQC, accountable to the provider, directly responsible for the quality and safety of the service and often operating with limited senior support, Registered Managers carry a significant and often underestimated professional burden.
AJG Advisory provides experienced, independent support that helps Registered Managers perform at their best. Whether you are new to the role, navigating a CQC inspection, managing a difficult period or simply want to develop your governance and leadership capability, this service is designed around your individual needs.
Every engagement is led personally by Jack Andrew Green, who has held senior operational roles within the health and social care sector and understands from direct experience the pressures and responsibilities that Registered Managers face daily.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Registered Manager support and interim leadership?
Registered Manager support is advisory and developmental: the Registered Manager remains in post and in role, and AJG Advisory provides coaching, guidance and external expertise. Interim leadership involves AJG Advisory stepping into the Registered Manager role directly, typically during a vacancy, transition or enforcement situation.
How regularly would support sessions take place?
The frequency is tailored to the individual manager and their current needs. Monthly sessions work well for ongoing development support, while managers preparing for CQC inspection or managing a period of enforcement may benefit from weekly contact. Flexible packages are available.
Is the support confidential?
Yes. All Registered Manager support is strictly confidential. Managers are encouraged to be open and frank about the challenges they face, safe in the knowledge that discussions will not be shared with providers or other parties without explicit consent.
Can support be provided remotely?
Yes. Support sessions can be conducted via video call or telephone, making them accessible regardless of geography. On-site support is also available where preferred or where the work requires it, for example when preparing for a CQC inspection.
Do you support Registered Managers of domiciliary care services?
Yes. Support is available for Registered Managers across all CQC-registered service types, including domiciliary care, supported living, care homes, complex care and community-based services.
