What does a care home consultant do?
A care home consultant works alongside your manager and provider to review how the home is really running — care delivery, staffing, governance and evidence — then agrees practical actions that improve quality and CQC outcomes.
Can you help a care home rated Requires Improvement or Inadequate?
Yes. We help you understand the findings, build a credible action plan, embed the changes day to day and evidence improvement before your next inspection.
Do you support residential and nursing homes?
Yes — older people's homes, nursing homes, dementia care and homes for younger adults with complex needs, including new registrations and established services.
How much does it cost?
Consultancy is £45 per hour or £350 per day. Larger projects are priced on application after a free initial conversation, so you know the cost before any work starts.
Do I need to buy any software?
No. Consultancy is completely independent. MyCareCompliance, MyCarePolicies and MyCareManager are available if they suit your service, but they are never a condition of working with AJG Advisory.
